BCN: Mosquito or “belgian beer, eastern tapas, great place!”

I go to the Mosquito 1 or 2 times a week, is my favorite place in Barcelona. Reasons are clear: a great beer menu with some of the best labels in the world and awesome and cheap Chinese tapas. [...]

In the kitchen, only Chinese people (but this is not a Chinese restaurant). The fried dumplings are wonderful, filled with meat or vegetables. The steamed dumplings too, the dough has an amazing texture, made with organic flour. Ask with any filling. But the best for me is the fried duck, served in two versions: one more skinny other fatter. Both delicious, I always ask for more. I also like the cold eggplant.

Beers are awesome. Many Belgian, German, Catalan … I always ask for Orval, Tripel Karmeliet, Chimay, Brewdog and more and more. The last time I tried the Belgian Binchoise Blonde that smelled of old cloth but the tasted great. Go figure.
