DUMPLINGS WITH WONTON SOUP WORKSHOP

 

A trip to China with the dumplings.

The dumplings are the same for China as croquettes are for Spain.
By this, I mean that there is an infinite variety throughout the country.
They can be prepared: steamed, boiled, in soups, grilled, fried. With pork, chicken, prawns, and everything else that only comes to the mind.

In this workshop we will prepare 3 varieties, the most representative of our chef Matt:

. Xialongbao of grilled Chinese onion with chili sauce
. Siu Mai of chicken and steamed prawns with ginger ponzu sauce
. Wonton soup of pork feet and spring onion

The workshop also includes a drink, a snack and a notebook with the recipes. After the workshop, we will enjoy all together the prepared meal.

RAMEN WORKSHOP

In this workshop we will learn how to make two different ramen broths:

 ·  Shoyu Ramen: Chicken-based, is the most typical ramen in Japan. Before serving, add a couple of tablespoons of soy sauce (Shoyu).

 ·  Miso Ramen: Miso-based (in Japanese 'source of flavor'), consists of a flavoring paste made from soy beans and/or cereals and sea salt, and fermented with the koji fungus.
